Interesting fact abt Olympics!!!!
Its Olympic mania everywhere..
One thing u must be noticing is that almost every medal winner..do bite their medal...
Well have you ever wondered the reason behind this??………
This is actually not for showoff. It’s a past practice which has now became a trademark for players and has a very unique reason behind it.
Earlier, when players were awarded with gold medals, it was actually made of pure gold and was not simply gold plated. The players used to check the authenticity of the gold medal by biting it. Gold, being a very soft metal (softer than tooth enamel), would leave some teeth marks by biting it. So, this practice of biting the medal allowed players to check whether it was pure gold or not.
Slowly it became a tradition. Now a days the medals the gold plated and no teeth marks are imprinted on it while biting. The players also know this but following this old practice they show their medals in such style.
Quite interesting, isn’t it??…….

Good lesson..from Hindu Mythology..
According to Hindu Mythology..there have been four eras namely..
1.Satya yuga
2.Treta yuga
3.Dwapari yuga
4.Kali yuga
In Satya yuga conflict and war used to be between Devas(Gods) and Rakshsas(Demons) who belong to two different worlds namely Devlok and Rakshalok.
In Treta yuga war was between Lord Rama and Demon Ravana who belong to two different countries namely India and Lanka.
In Dwapari yuga war was between Pandavas and Kouravas who belong to same families.
You must have observed decrement of distance between rivals as eras passing.
In Kali yuga, the present era..The war is between good and bad who lie in ourselves. So the war is inside us.
Until Kali yuga good had been winning. But in this Kali yuga..winner (among good and bad) is decided by human himself..with his character and attitude.
Sounds logical,isn't it!!

Is Copying good or bad..??!!
Hai!!!!
Right from our childhood we are accustomed to believe that copying something is bad.!!
I would like to contradict this dogma. And I advocate everything in this world is copying (Just think about it once!!!).
In my opinion Copying in itself is neither good nor bad. There are two factors based on which we can conclude whether copying good or bad.
Those are:
1.When you are copying(Situation)
2.What you are copying
Let me briefly discuss about those factors.
1.When you are copying(Situation) :
Suppose u missed a class and you want to know what was happened in the class. In that situation you may copy content from your friend's notebook. It's fine.
Whereas, if you copy the same content from the same friend in examination..It's not fine,isn't it!
This way a situation when you are copying decides nature of the copying.
2.What you are copying :
It is very important thing one must understand...we are what we copy from our surroundings. Yes!!
Obviously, our surroundings are filled with good and bad as well.
So if we copy good things and good ways..we'll be good
Whereas if we copy bad things and bad ways..we'll be bad.
For better understanding...
Let us consider..A person wants to learn Mathematics. There are two people in his surroundings..one who failed in tenth standard mathematics..second who secured top grade.
Now..if the person copies first one..he'll be ended up with nothing. But if the person copies second he can fulfill his wish. Same is true if you want be successful..copy successful people not failed people.
So,Dear friends, Be careful about what you are copying and when you are copying...because it decides our status in life!!!
So conclusion...Copying in itself is neither good nor bad...just like water is neither acid nor base.

Logical solution to mind boggling tricky problem!!!!
Hai all!!
U must have seen problem such as:
There are 100 soldiers...they decided to suicide..they planned to kill the person next to him and have to hand the sword to other(1st person kills 2nd gives sword to 3rd person) and so on.
Who will survive at the end?
A solution paradigm everyone attempts is writing down 100 numbers and doing as in question..step by step..until we find answer.
We'll get answer to be 73...
This way will be ok..if number of soldiers are 100....
What if 1000....
This approach would be tedious....isn't it?
Here u have proper approach....
Step 1:Find nearest power of 2 smaller than no of soldiers.
For example...64 is nearest power of 2..smaller than 100.
Step2:Subtract that number from no of soldiers..i.e.,100-64=36
Step 3: Considering number as n...calculating 2n+1 gives u the answer..i.e.,73..
Try the same for 1000....don't forget to let ur fnd know this..

Zero to Zenith in English..
Hello all!!
Though I haven't reached the Zenith yet...but I am on my way to that and i know the way pretty clearly.
In this post I am gonna let u know how i raised my English from zero to appreciable level.
As most of Indian students..I studied till my tenth standard in regional language(Telugu). Our English teaching till tenth used to be just drilling important poems and Q&As. To simply put our ability in English...we used to answer hint story...by just filling some random words in the blanks!!!
Fortunately..in tenth class i got robust basics of English from one of the best teachers i have ever..Mr.Ch.A.Raju sir.
That laid very strong foundation to my English and raised my confidence that i can master it.
However, basics were just tenses table, parts of speech,types of sentences, direct-indirect speech and active and passive voice.
You might be wondering..these we can find in grammar books..Yess!! You are correct.
But not the PRACTICE...!!
Yes..the PRACTICE I did during my tenth on these basics...helped me to lay strong foundation.
However, the above mentioned basics has very little importance if we come to English speaking. Yes!! There are lot more required things which i'm gonna mention below...
1.Belief:
It is basic requirement...if you want to learn anything new....
You need to believe that you can talk in English because "if a man can do..another man can also do..."
I believe I can. If u believe.. you also can..as we both born on same planet.!!
2.Visualize:
Visualize (or you can say Dream) yourself speaking English in front gathering eloquently. This helps you to programme your brain for ur goal...thereby..brain cooperates you much instead of giving excuses.
3.L R S:
L-Listen...
R-Read...
S-Speak..
Here, i mean..Live in English if you want to learn English. There is no wonder in the statement. You know how we learned our regional language...we used to be surrounded by it..hence we got..that's it.
Similarly surround yourself with English..you will get!!!
Myself..I watch TED videos, English movies...as a part of Listening.
I read around 7 books(related to business,personality and leadership)..and still going on..as a part of Reading(didn't consider acadamics).
I do talk to many new people everyday...I do give my testimonials in front of pretty big gatherings how I improved my personality(initially used to be small gatherings)...as a part of speaking.
4.Mistake:
Our system trained our brains in such a way that we think making mistake in learning is crime.
It is absolutely a wrong impact. Come out of the dogma. A person can learn bicycle only if he fall several times.
Our learning strategy should be.."Make mistakes...Correct mistakes...Again make Mistakes...Again repeat..".
Suppose..you are trying to hit a goal in soccer..it is more likely you hit the goal...if number of trails is higher.
Same way..it is more likely you master English...if number of new mistakes you make everyday is higher.
Ultimately...Steps in Learning English converges to 3 of the following actions..
1.Practice!
2.Practice!
3.Practice!
Yess!!..Keep practicing..

Interesting fact:How can u get water freezed faster in your refrigerator
John suddenly came to know he is gonna have guests on a hot afternoon just before their arrival. He needs ice but if he keep normal water he was sure he will definitely end up with just cold water with little ice.
So..what he did?!!!
He heated water for some time..and then kept in freezer...Guests arrived...
Amazingly water was completely frozen...Wow!!!
You might be wondering, even though he heated water, how he still got his water frozen...even faster!!!!
Yes it is TRUE.
Hot water freezes faster than normal water.
This is called as Mpemba Effect, named after a Tanzanian student who discovered that a hot ice cream mix freezes faster than a cold mix in cookery classes in the early 1960s.(However, the effect has been noted by many scientists throughout the history including Aristole, Franicis Bacon.)
Why this effect...how it is happening!!!
We know that water is most abundant and most useful fluid..and mysterious too...
It has many peculiar phenomenon such as:
Unlike remaining matter, water's solid form(ice) has less density than liquid form .. which is why ice floats on water...
And Mpemba effect is one such effect...there are some explanations for this effect as following..
1.Warm containers make better thermal contact with a refrigerator and so conduct heat more efficiently. Hence the faster freezing.
2.Warm water evaporates rapidly and since this is an endothermic process, it cools the water making it freeze more quickly.
However, none of the explanations so far are entirely convincing.
Let us not bother about why it so...use it to server our purpose...

Why most of Government employees are lazy..!!!
Well, in last posts i was discussing about memory techniques..
Now let me discuss some general issue...Why most of Government employees are lazy!!
It is very common in some countries(especially India) having very less productivity in government bodies.
And employees engaging in some other works during work hours. e.g.,Government doctor working in his private hospital during his work hours.
The answer why these people are so..is very simple....let me illustrate with an example..
Suppose a college is having privilege of getting placements irrespective of academic performance or skill of students.
Can we expect student of that college having any quality.!!!(mostly)
Simply that is what happening with most of the Government employees..i.e., they are having no threat to SECURITY.
You can get something done by a person(getting productivity) by showing benefit or fear.
Anyway..Government employees are getting all benefits as soon as they placed including security..promotion also will be given based on seniority...so benefit is not driving them.
Now ..let's talk fear...there are no threats or fears for government employees as they are having security of job guaranteed.
That may be why most of the government employees sitting lazily without making justice to the salary they are getting.
If you take corporate employees...
1.benefit:here extra benefit(promotion) will be given to those who gives good productivity.
2.fear: here person will surely be fired if he fails giving his best..no security
Hence in private sector..both benefit and fear drives an employee to produce his best to survive..whereas this driving criterion is not in government sector.
In my opinion solution to above problem
->Implementing private policies in government sector...possible
->privatising everything..hardly possible..

Greatness of Humans
Hai friends!!
Now i'm gonna reveal what happened when we were being created by God..
God telling, after creating all animals and trees, with his wife..
God:Dear! Now i'm gonna create a wonderful animal.
Wife:What is that!!!
God:It's Human.
Wife:Why is it wonderful,Dear!
God:I'm gonna give this animal many powers and infinite potentials with which he can control rest of my creation. Most importantly I'm blessing him with a fantabulous power..with which he can even conquer and win against me.
Wife:What is the power dear!
God:WISDOM
Wife:Be careful Dear! This was how you used to give boons to demons also..in return,you were tormented with your boons. I suggest not to give that power to Humans.
God:What you said is correct, Dear! But,without that power my creation is worthless. What to do!!!
Wife: Then hide power somewhere in your creation.
God: YEsss!! But wherever i try to hide the power..human, with his ability, can very easily find it out. So only place where he has to search hard is his ...BRAIN. I'll hide it within it.
Wife: Wise,dear!! To bring the power out from Brain..human needs lot of knowledge of his ownself and a lot more..which is really hard.
Yes my dear friends...although i don't have historical proofs of the conversation(might be imaginary)..it is logically correct, isn't it!
With wisdom..we can conquer any thing..even beyond sun..Here the point is we need to realize it as it is within us...have to concentrate our brain to bring it out....
That's what greate Legend Swamy Vivekananda said...All power is Within you...You have infinite potential...
So..it concludes our speciality is within us..which is WISDOM..which keeps us apart from rest of creation.
Use it Constructively..

Wife: Forgot to tell you..wheat flour also exhausted..bring one kg of it.
Husband: ok.
WIfe: Also..bisleri water bottles,eggs,potato,biscuit packets,soap and shampoo,lemons are needed.
Husband: ok.
Wife: How can you remember all ..just write down so that u won't miss anything.
Husband: No dear! not needed.
Wife: I don't think so..
Husband: U will see..
In the evening.. to the surprise of wife..husband brought everything without leaving one.
How was it possible..
What husband did to remember all!!
Very simple he created some story using all as follows..
"We need to brush up as soon as we wake-up.so i need to bring brushes
Then drinking water..so water bottles..
Then taking bath..so soap and shampoo..
Then having break-fast..So for chapathi as break fast ..we need Wheat flour to make chapathi
Then..after break-fast..to have some fun time..playing cards to play..
Then comes..lunch..for that ..eggs and potato..to prepare curries..
As it is summer..on mid noon..lemon water is good for health..so lemons..
Finally..for evening snacks.. biscuit packets..."
Work Done!!!
